On October 14, 2017, the seventh annual Rubbish to Runway will take place at the stunning Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury, MA. Mayor of Newburyport, Donna Holaday, will be emcee and Adrienne Montezinos will be the Mistress of Organization. Over thirty-five pieces of wearable art will walk the runway.

Proceeds for the event will support Long Way Home, whose mission as a registered US 501(c)3 is to use sustainable design and materials to construct self-sufficient schools that promote education, employment and environmental stewardship. Long Way Home's vision is to empower communities to break the cycle of poverty through innovative solutions to local challenges.

Rubbish to Runway is a showcase of waste that has been converted to wearable fashion to raise money for Long Way Home and has been hosted in 5 different cities over the last decade.
