Our 8th annual re-fashion show to support Long Way Home

The eighth annual Rubbish to Runway ReFashion Show will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at The Governor's Academy, 1 Elm Street, Byfield, MA 01922 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The Rubbish to Runway is a showcase of wearable art constructed from post-consumer waste materials. The purpose of the show is to advocate for recycling, reuse, and upcycling as socially conscientious choices. Please visit Rubbish to Runway at www.rubbishtorunway.org.
Tickets are $45 until April 13, 2019, and $55 after that.
The pre-show reception will take place in the Whiston-Bragdon Arena followed by the runway show at the Theodore G. Bergmann Theater, a 490-seat theater equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound.
There will be an open bar (two drinks per guest with ticket purchase) and Latino-inspired hors-d'oeuvres. Dessert will be available during intermission.
Proceeds for the event will support Long Way Home, a registered US non-profit whose mission is to use sustainable design and materials to construct self-sufficient schools that promote education, employment, and environmental stewardship.
Long Way Home's vision is to empower communities to break the cycle of poverty through innovative solutions to local challenges.
